After the library, the first official stop on my San Antonio tour was the Tower of the Americas. It was built in 1968 as the centerpiece of the World's Fair. It's 750 feet tall, and has an observation deck on top.
We took a long elevator ride to the observation deck in the tower. Here are some pictures from the top...
The Alamodome is a large facility that used for football games, concerts, the circus, and other larger events. The San Antonio Spurs used to play here, but they moved to the AT&T Center in 2002.
It's windy up here!
