Our last stops of the day wer the Alamo and the Menger Hotel, which are right next to each other.
The Menger Hotel is over 150 years old (it was built in 1858) and is often called "The Most Haunted Hotel in Texas." Several presidents, actors, and other notables have stayed at the Menger Hotel.
Of course we had to visit the Alamo. Unfortunately we had so much fun at Hemisfair Park and the River Walk that the Alamo was closed by the time we got there (and I was really hoping to check out the basement!). At least we got a shot of me outside.
